Several rule blocks can be created for the transformations in order to ensure a certain structure for the rules in the transformation. A rule block contains several rules that are processed one after the other in a block. The order of the rule blocks is also taken into account. It is also possible to define the execution of a rule block based on a condition.

Block

A new rule block is created via the Plus, three options are offered:

Block

1. create rules from a producttype.

A producttype must be selected for this, a rule is created for each attribute in the producttype. Then an attempt is made to map the existing attributes (i.e. the attributes that run into the transformation) to the attributes from the producttype. Chioro uses ChatGPT for this. If no match is found for the attributes, an empty rule is created which the user can assign himself. It should be noted that the rules created in this way can be edited but not deleted.

Block

The matches found by the AI can be recognized by the purple magic wand icon in the line.

2. create rules from a data table.

Block

  1. data table from which the rules are to be inserted
  2. which attribute in the data table should be used as the name of the target, if there is only one attribute in the data table, no further setting is necessary/possible.
  3. attribute “Category”: If set, the values of the attribute are listed in the next section
  4. category value: If the category attribute is set, the values are displayed here. If you select a value, the data table will be filtered based on this value so that only these rows will be considered as generated rules.
  5. comment fields: If selected, the name and value of these attributes are additionally specified in the generated rules under the “Comment” section.
  6. saving the new block.

In this case, no automatic mapping of the attributes is attempted.

3. create an empty rule block.

Block

  1. a name can be assigned to the new block.
  2. save the new block.
