Rules are the most important part of the Transformation, as well as Split in Chioro. With the help of Rules, the exact configuration of transforming source to destination can be specified. To make it easier to configure these rules, a standard library of tools are provided. These tool can be used to simplify a variety of common use-cases, such as extracting text or converting numbers and units.
